Pregnancy goes quickly. One minute you're staring at a positive test, the next you're holding your baby wondering where the bump went. A maternity session is a chance to slow down and actually document this chapter before it's over.


I photograph maternity sessions in a way that feels relaxed and natural. There's no pressure to look a certain way or perform for the camera. Whether you want something intimate at home, outdoors in the Derbyshire countryside, or in my cosy studio in Derby ~ we'll find an approach that suits you.


Partners and siblings are absolutely welcome. Some of my favourite maternity images aren't of the bump at all, they're of the people around it.


The ideal time to book is after your 12 or 20 week scan, with the session itself taking place between 26 and 34 weeks when the bump is beautifully round but you're still comfortable moving around. I'd recommend getting in touch early to secure your date as this window goes faster than you'd think.
